Job Summary:
Responsible for supervising PDC production operations, manpower, machine performance, quality and safety to achieve production targets with minimum rejection and downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day Pressure Die Casting (PDC/HPDC) production.
- Achieve daily/shift-wise production targets.
- Manage operators and allocate manpower according to production requirements.
- Monitor PDC machine parameters, cycle time and productivity.
- Coordinate die setting, die change and production trials.
- Identify and control casting defects such as porosity, blow holes, flash, cold shut, misrun and short shot.
- Monitor rejection and take corrective action to reduce defects.
- Coordinate with Quality, Die Maintenance, Tool Room and Maintenance teams.
- Handle machine/process-related issues and minimize downtime.
- Maintain production reports, rejection reports and shift records.
- Ensure compliance with 5S, safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Train and guide operators on production processes and work instructions.
- Support continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, OEE and productivity improvement.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
