1. Business Development & Revenue Growth – Identify and capitalise on incremental business opportunities through a balanced approach to strategic deal making and tactical execution. – Drive digital sales, tele-sales, and cross-sell programmes through Banca and Non-Banca channels, including NBFCs and Housing Finance Companies (HFCs). – Grow and protect market share within existing partner institutions by expanding product penetration and deepening channel engagement. – Identify new partnership opportunities and develop a robust pipeline of tie-up prospects aligned with Star Health's distribution strategy. 2. Partner & Channel Management – Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key decision-makers, branch managers, and channel influencers at assigned Banks, NBFCs, and HFCs. – Conduct regular branch/channel visits to drive activation, product awareness, and sales productivity among partner staff. – Act as a trusted interface between Indicosmic, Star Health, and partner institutions to ensure seamless programme execution. 3. Client Advocacy & Product Positioning – Leverage the full breadth of Star Health's product portfolio and value proposition to maximise partner engagement and premium mobilisation. – Deliver structured product training and sales enablement sessions to partner teams to improve product knowledge and conversion rates. – Address partner and customer queries, escalations, and service issues in a timely and professional manner. 4. Pipeline & Proposal Management – Build and maintain a structured pipeline of business opportunities and new tie-up proposals. – Prepare and present business development proposals, partnership pitches, and performance review decks to partner institutions. – Track all meeting action items, commitments, and follow-ups to ensure consistent progress on business development goals. 5. Reporting & MIS – Submit accurate and timely sales reports, activity trackers, and performance dashboards to the reporting manager. – Monitor channel performance metrics and proactively flag underperformance with a corrective action plan. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES The Relationship Manager will be directly accountable for: – Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual premium and policy targets for the assigned territory. – Number of active Banca/NBFC/HFC partnerships maintained and new partnerships onboarded within the year. – Partner satisfaction and engagement levels as measured through periodic reviews. – Accuracy and timeliness of sales reporting, MIS, and pipeline data. – Adherence to compliance, regulatory, and company-defined sales practices at all times. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Educational Qualification – Graduate in any discipline (mandatory). – MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Finance or Insurance Management preferred. Work Experience – Freshers/ Alumni 1-2 years of relevant experience in Bancassurance, insurance distribution, NBFC/HFC partnerships, or financial services business development. – Prior exposure to health or general insurance products and Banca channel sales is a strong advantage. – Candidates with existing relationships with local banks or NBFCs will be given preference.
