Pharmacist – Apollo Pharmacy
About the Role
Apollo Pharmacy is seeking a licensed, customer-focused Pharmacist to deliver safe, accurate, and high-quality pharmaceutical care. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing medication counseling, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting efficient pharmacy operations while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications in accordance with established safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Review prescriptions to verify dosage accuracy, identify potential drug interactions, allergies, contraindications, and other clinical concerns.
- Educate and counsel customers on medication usage, dosage, side effects, storage, and preventive healthcare practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, State Pharmacy Council regulations, professional standards, and Apollo Pharmacy policies.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, billing transactions, inventory, and other pharmacy documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels, replenish stock, ensure appropriate storage conditions, and manage expiry tracking.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions and resolve medication-related queries.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service by addressing customer questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment that meets operational and regulatory requirements.
- Support health awareness initiatives, vaccination drives, medical camps, and other community healthcare programs as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the respective State Pharmacy Council.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 5 years of relevant pharmacy experience are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or organized healthcare settings.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems, billing software, and inventory management processes.

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medications, and dispensing practices.

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
