Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a STEM/Makerspace Facilitator. The Facilitator will engage with students to plan and conduct hands-on STEM and creative activities, guide them in using laboratory tools and technologies, and mentor them on innovative projects. They will also support the installation and upkeep of makerspace equipment, assist in curriculum development, and collaborate with educators to enhance learning experiences.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of STEM concepts, engineering design processes, and experience with tools or equipment used in makerspaces.
- Ability to teach and facilitate workshops, mentor students, and manage group activities effectively.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, project-based learning, and guiding creative project development among students.
- Good organizational skills to manage lab spaces, maintain equipment, and support curriculum alignment.
- Knowledge of AI technologies, prototyping tools, and a passion for promoting creativity and innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields, Education, or a related area is preferred.
- Prior experience in a teaching or facilitation role is advantageous.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with students and educators.
