We are looking for a highly motivated, customer-focused UX Designer to build engaging shopping experiences that help hundreds of millions of emerging customers discover promotions, unlock savings, and get more value every time they shop. This is an exciting opportunity for builders and makers who thrive in ambiguity and love solving complex problems at massive scale. In this role, you will be responsible for leading design initiatives that help customers build bigger baskets, discover what more to consider, and find the best deals—all while making the shopping journey feel rewarding and fun. You'll gamify the shopping experience, design intuitive promotion discovery flows, and create delightful moments that drive customer engagement and savings. You'll work alongside product management, engineering, UX research, and UX writing to define and build essential, lovable products. This position requires deep customer focus, the ability to dive deep and invent, and the ability to make hard decisions fast. To be successful, you need to be highly motivated and detail-oriented while demonstrating the highest standards.
You are an experienced designer with deep experience in e-commerce, consumer tech, or mobile-first environments. You have a knack for making complex shopping decisions feel simple and rewarding. You are an organized self-starter who can deal with ambiguity and are always on the lookout for ways to help customers save more and shop smarter. You are an excellent collaborator and have no problem presenting—and defending—your ideas to other designers, product managers, and company leaders. You understand the value of user testing and prototyping and thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Above all, you are passionate about solving real problems for real people through research, design, and iteration.
In this role, you will work with other members of the design and product teams to create experiences that are easy to use, meaningful, and aesthetically pleasing to the customer—helping them discover promotions, understand their savings, and feel motivated to explore more. You will use market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings to tailor your designs to the customer and best solve their problems. You will be responsible for developing your ideas from concept to completion, presenting them to stakeholders for approval, and working directly with developers to bring them to life.
