About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Placement Head to lead our placement and employer relations function.
The role involves building relationships with companies, universities, hospitals, healthcare organizations, pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and other employers to create job opportunities for our learners.
You will also manage the placement team, hiring requirements, candidate coordination, and overall placement performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR teams, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Develop new employer partnerships and generate regular hiring requirements.
- Build and manage B2B, university, and industry partnerships.
- Understand employer requirements, job roles, eligibility, and hiring processes.
- Manage the complete placement process from job requirement to candidate joining.
- Coordinate candidate screening, shortlisting, interviews, selections, and joining.
- Work with training and academic teams to ensure candidates are job-ready.
- Lead and manage the placement and employer relations team.
- Set individual and team targets and monitor performance.
- Train and mentor the team on employer communication, recruitment, and placement processes.
- Track placement metrics such as interviews, selections, joining, and placement percentage.
- Prepare regular placement reports and updates for management.
- Track hiring trends across Healthcare, Life Sciences, Clinical Research, IT, and other sectors.
- Identify new job roles, employer requirements, and market opportunities.
- Drive initiatives to improve placement numbers, employer satisfaction, and candidate outcomes.
Requirements
- 8–14 years of experience in Placements, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, Staffing, Corporate Relations, Business Development, or Partnerships.
- Experience in EdTech / Edutech / Universities / Partnerships / B2B is preferred.
- Experience managing employer relationships and hiring pipelines.
- Experience managing or leading a recruitment/placement team is preferred.
- Educational background in Technical or Life Sciences.
- Experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Education, Clinical Research, or Professional Training is an advantage.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of recruitment and placement KPIs.
- Strong team management and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with targets and deadlines.
- Strong follow-up, execution, and stakeholder management skills.
