We are hiring an AutoCAD Designer for the CCTV industry who can convert POQ (Points of Quantity) into accurate technical drawings, including camera layouts and elevation drawings. The role also involves supporting the presales team with design proposals for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert POQ/BOQ into detailed CCTV layout drawings
- Prepare camera placement layouts, cable routing, and elevation drawings using AutoCAD
- Design surveillance system layouts (CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR, networking)
- Support presales team with technical drawings and client proposals
- Create site layout plans based on client requirements
- Revise drawings as per site conditions or client feedback
- Coordinate with sales, project, and installation teams
- Maintain drawing records and documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D must, 3D is a plus)
- Experience in CCTV / ELV / Security systems design
- Understanding of camera types, coverage angles, and placements
- Ability to read and interpret POQ / BOQ
- Basic knowledge of networking (IP cameras, switches, cabling)
- Good communication skills (for presales coordination)
- Diploma / B.Tech (Electrical / Electronics / Civil or related field)
