We are looking for an experienced and responsible Civil Site Engineer to manage and supervise ongoing construction and civil work at the project site. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring daily site activities, taking accurate measurements, preparing measurement sheets and supporting the preparation of contractor bills.
The ideal candidate should have good practical knowledge of civil construction work and should be capable of independently handling site measurements, documentation and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at the site.
- Ensure that work is carried out as per drawings, specifications and approved requirements.
- Take accurate measurements of completed and ongoing work.
- Prepare and maintain Measurement Sheets, Measurement Books (MB), Joint Measurement Records and Site Records.
- Verify quantities of work executed at the site for billing purposes.
- Assist in preparation, checking and verification of RA Bills, contractor bills and work quantity statements.
- Maintain proper daily site documentation, progress reports and records.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and project teams.
- Check the quality and progress of civil work at the site.
- Identify discrepancies in measurements, quantities or work execution and report the same.
- Maintain proper records of materials, work progress and site activities.
- Ensure that all site-related documentation is properly maintained.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil construction/site work.
- Strong practical knowledge of site supervision, civil work measurement and billing.
- Must be capable of independently taking accurate measurements of executed work.
- Good understanding of BOQ, quantity calculation, rate analysis and contractor billing.
- Experience in preparing and checking RA Bills and Measurement Sheets will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
- Ability to read and understand civil drawings.
- Willingness to work at the project site and travel to project locations as required.
- Strong documentation and coordination skills.
