Job Title: Paint Shop Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Plan, supervise, and monitor daily paint shop operations.
Ensure proper surface preparation, painting, curing, and finishing processes.
Monitor paint quality, film thickness, gloss, adhesion, and overall finish.
Maintain painting equipment, spray guns, ovens, conveyors, and related systems.
Troubleshoot paint defects such as peeling, blistering, orange peel, pinholes, and poor adhesion.
Optimize paint consumption and reduce material wastage.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and PPC teams.
Maintain production and quality records, reports, and process documentation.
Implement 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with company Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Policies.
Follow all environmental, health, and safety guidelines related to paint handling and chemical storage.
Qualification
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Production, or Automobile Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in a Paint Shop within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
