Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for editing raw footage into high-quality videos for promotional, educational, social media, and branding purposes. The ideal candidate should have strong technical editing skills and a good sense of storytelling, transitions, audio, and visual effects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage into engaging and high-quality final videos
- Add transitions, graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and background music
- Create videos for social media, marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities
- Ensure consistency in style, branding, and visual quality across all video content
- Collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams to understand project requirements
- Trim footage and assemble clips to create smooth and compelling stories
- Enhance video quality using color correction and audio balancing
- Manage and organize video files, assets, and project timelines
- Stay updated with current video editing trends and tools
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Mass Communication, Film Production, or related field
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
- Good understanding of motion graphics, visual effects, and audio editing
- Strong creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in animation or motion graphics
- Knowledge of camera handling and video production workflows
- Portfolio/showreel of previous editing work preferred
