Position Summary
Metal Fabriks India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Turner for the Tool Room Department. The candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathe machines, manufacturing precision components, and supporting tool room activities to ensure smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate conventional lathe machines for machining of components as per drawings and specifications.
- Perform turning, facing, drilling, threading, knurling, and taper turning operations.
- Manufacture and repair dies, jigs, fixtures, shafts, bushes, and other tool room components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Measure finished components using precision measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and bore gauges.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards of machined parts.
- Maintain machine tools and perform routine maintenance activities.
- Follow safety procedures and housekeeping standards in the tool room.
- Assist in breakdown maintenance and modification of machine parts when required.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance departments for tool room requirements.
- Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
Required Qualifications
- ITI in Turner Trade or equivalent technical qualification.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Turner in a Tool Room or Engineering Industry.
- Experience in manufacturing precision machine components and tooling parts preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
