Job Summary
Pitambra Film & Production is seeking a creative, trend-aware, and detail-oriented Fashion Stylist to develop distinctive looks for artists, actors, models, and influencers across films, web series, advertisements, music videos, fashion campaigns, and promotional events. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of fashion trends, character styling, wardrobe coordination, and on-set execution while collaborating closely with directors, photographers, makeup artists, and costume teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute wardrobe styling based on project concepts, scripts, and creative briefs.
- Style actors, models, influencers, and artists for films, advertisements, music videos, photoshoots, and promotional campaigns.
- Source clothing, accessories, footwear, and fashion props from designers, boutiques, brands, and rental vendors.
- Coordinate wardrobe fittings, alterations, and costume trials before production.
- Work closely with directors, cinematographers, photographers, makeup artists, hairstylists, and costume designers to achieve the desired visual aesthetic.
- Ensure costume continuity throughout filming and photography sessions.
- Organize, label, maintain, and manage wardrobe inventory before, during, and after shoots.
- Supervise garment preparation, steaming, packing, and transportation for production schedules.
- Provide quick wardrobe changes and styling adjustments during shoots.
- Stay updated with current fashion trends, celebrity styling, and emerging industry aesthetics.
- Build and maintain relationships with fashion designers, boutiques, rental houses, and accessory suppliers.
- Manage styling budgets while maintaining high production quality.
- Ensure all costumes and accessories are returned, maintained, and documented after production.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Styling, Costume Design, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in fashion styling, costume styling, or the film and entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of fashion trends, color theory, fabrics, silhouettes, and body types.
- Excellent styling, visual presentation, and creative direction skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and flexible production schedules.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of wardrobe continuity for film and video production.
- Willingness to travel for outdoor shoots and production assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on films, web series, advertisements, music videos, fashion campaigns, or celebrity styling.
- A strong portfolio showcasing styling projects.
- Existing network with fashion brands, designers, boutiques, and wardrobe rental vendors.
- Basic understanding of makeup, grooming, and visual aesthetics.
