Shift Timings – 8.30 am to 5.15 pm
Purpose of Position:
The Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to customers regarding the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas chromatograph / other relevant equipment’s. This role aims to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction by addressing equipment issues promptly and effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Installation and Optimization:
➢Conduct on-site installation of gas chromatograph equipment.
➢Optimize hardware, software, and network configurations to meet customer requirements.
2.Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
➢Diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
➢Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment functionality to its optimum.
3.Customer Support:
➢Advise customers on preventive maintenance measures and configuration adjustments to enhance product performance.
➢Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical assistance as needed.
4.Preventive Measures:
➢Proactively address potential equipment issues to prevent disruptions to customer operations.
➢Recommend preventive measures to improve equipment reliability and performance.
5.Solution Delivery:
➢Provide fully integrated solutions, including peripherals, communications, and software applications, to meet customer needs.
6.Problem Resolution:
➢Review customer reports and documentation to identify equipment malfunctions and their scope.
➢Coordinate with production, R&D, and laboratory personnel to expedite repairs and resolutions as the case may be.
7.Technical Analysis:
➢Analyze chemistry reports and inspection findings to determine the root cause of technical problems.
➢Recommend modifications or enhancements to eliminate future issues.
8.Customer Communication:
➢Serve as a communication link between customers and the company to ensure effective service delivery.
➢Address customer concerns and provide regular updates on service status and resolutions.
9.Sales Promotion:
➢Promote sales of spare parts and annual maintenance contracts (AMC) to customers.
