Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and professional Hospital Receptionist to join our team in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting and possess excellent communication, organizational, and patient-handling skills. The candidate should be able to manage front desk operations efficiently while ensuring a positive experience for patients and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome and assist patients, visitors, and attendants in a courteous and professional manner.
* Manage patient registration, appointments, admissions, and discharge coordination.
* Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries promptly.
* Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the hospital management system.
* Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments for smooth patient flow.
* Handle billing-related queries and guide patients regarding hospital procedures.
* Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with hospital policies.
* Ensure the reception area remains organized, clean, and welcoming.
* Prepare daily reports and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
## Required Qualifications
* Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Receptionist in a hospital or healthcare facility.
* Strong communication skills in Hindi and English. Knowledge of local languages will be an added advantage.
* Proficiency in MS Office and Hospital Management Software (HMS).
* Excellent interpersonal, multitasking, and customer service skills.
* Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
