Qualification:
- Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) – mandatory
- Certification in any vocational skill/trade (preferred)
- Basic computer knowledge will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver vocational training programs based on students’ abilities and needs
- Assess individual skills, interests, and capabilities to design individualized training plans
- Provide hands-on training in specific trades (e.g., crafts, tailoring, computer basics, etc.)
- Develop students’ life skills, communication, and workplace behavior
- Monitor, evaluate, and document student progress
- Assist in job placement, internships, or self-employment opportunities
- Work collaboratively with therapists, caregivers, and management
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Keep records of attendance, training activities, and progress reports
- Conduct parent/caregiver guidance sessions when required
