Image Acquisition: Perform diagnostic tests such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and fluoroscopy.Patient Care: Prepare patients by explaining procedures, ensuring physical comfort, and positioning them precisely for accurate imaging.Radiation Safety: Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and themselves from exposure.Equipment Management: Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging machines, ensuring they function correctly.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate medical histories, patient records, and safely file or transmit acquired images.Collaboration: Assist physicians, surgeons (e.g., in the operating theater), and radiologists by delivering clear and high-quality diagnostic pictures.
