Position: Assistant Manager – Purchase
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Purchase to manage end-to-end procurement activities. The role involves sourcing, negotiating, and ensuring timely availability of materials, particularly for EPC/Construction projects involving Civil and Electrical works.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete procurement cycle from requirement to delivery
- Source and procure civil and electrical materials
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors/suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Coordinate with project/site teams for material planning
- Monitor inventory and optimize procurement costs
- Ensure compliance with company policies and documentation
- Maintain strong vendor relationships for long-term partnerships
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes
- Experience in EPC / Construction procurement
- Expertise in civil & electrical materials
- Vendor management and negotiation skills
- Cost control and budgeting ability
- Good communication and coordination skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering preferred – Civil/Electrical)
Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement
- Prior experience in EPC / Contracting industry is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,842.00 - ₹46,145.00 per month
