Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor cum Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. The candidate will be responsible for creating engaging video content and attractive graphic designs for digital marketing, social media, advertising campaigns, branding, and promotional activities.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of visual storytelling, video editing, graphic design, social media trends, and creative advertising.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing
- Edit promotional videos, advertisements, reels, shorts, and social media videos.
- Create engaging short-form video content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
- Add appropriate transitions, motion graphics, text, subtitles, music, sound effects, and visual effects.
- Edit testimonial videos, product videos, educational videos, event videos, and corporate videos.
- Create videos according to campaign objectives and marketing requirements.
- Ensure videos are optimized for different platform formats such as Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts, and landscape videos.
- Work with the marketing team to develop creative video concepts and visual storytelling.
Graphic Design
- Design social media creatives, advertisements, posters, banners, brochures, flyers, and promotional materials.
- Create designs for digital marketing campaigns and paid advertisements.
- Develop attractive creatives while maintaining brand consistency.
- Design thumbnails, presentation creatives, event materials, and promotional graphics.
- Resize and adapt creatives for multiple social media and advertising platforms.
- Support branding and marketing activities with innovative visual concepts.
Creative & Marketing Support
- Understand campaign requirements and convert ideas into engaging visual content.
- Stay updated with current social media trends, video styles, design trends, and digital marketing formats.
- Suggest creative concepts for advertisements, campaigns, reels, and promotional videos.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure timely completion of creative requirements.
- Manage multiple projects and meet assigned deadlines.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of video editing and graphic design.
- Good understanding of visual storytelling and social media content.
- Experience in editing Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, and advertisements.
- Knowledge of typography, colour combinations, layouts, and branding.
- Ability to create attractive and engaging creatives independently.
- Good creativity, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work under deadlines.
Preferred Software Skills
Candidates should have working knowledge of some or all of the following:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Canva
- CapCut or similar video editing tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree, Diploma, or certification in Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field is preferred. (Education not mandatory)
- Relevant work experience in video editing and graphic design is must.
- A strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing and graphic design work is preferred.
