A Primary Teacher (PRT) Math educator builds foundational numeracy, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills for primary students (Classes I–V). Key duties include planning interactive lessons, assessing progress, and fostering a positive environment. Responsibilities
- Instruction: Deliver engaging, age-appropriate math lessons covering numbers, basic geometry, and arithmetic using real-life examples.
- Lesson Planning: Design daily and unit lesson plans aligned with curriculum guidelines (such as CBSE/NEP standards).
- Assessment: Create and grade quizzes, assignments, and exams to track student development.
- Differentiation: Adapt teaching methods to support both remedial learners and advanced students.
- Communication: Partner with parents through regular updates and parent-teacher meetings.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.), Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or a relevant field with a strong math background.
- Certification: Valid teaching license or qualification (such as CTET for Indian schools).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional patience, empathy, clear communication, and classroom management capabilities
