Safety Officer – Chemical / Agrochemical Industry
We are hiring a Safety Officer (5–7 years experience) for a Chemical/Agrochemical Manufacturing Unit (MHA Unit). Candidate must have hands-on experience in Oleum, Sulfuric Acid, Chlorine handling, PTW system, HIRA, SOP implementation, and emergency preparedness.
Responsibilities:
– Ensure statutory compliance (Factory Act, PESO, GPCB)
– Manage PTW: Hot Work, Confined Space, Height Work, Line Breaking
– Oversee hydrogenation/chlorination process safety
– Conduct HIRA, safety training & mock drills
– Enforce shop-floor discipline, PPE usage & safe work practices
Requirements:
– Diploma/Degree in Chemical/Industrial Safety
– Experience in MHA units is mandatory
– Strong command on hazardous chemical handling & safety systems
