About the Position:

Qualification Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Statistics, Data Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related fields (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience Required:
- 2-5 years of experience in MIS management, data coordination, reporting, or monitoring & evaluation roles, preferably in skilling, livelihood, or development sector programs
- Experience handling large datasets and coordinating with multi-location project teams
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, MIS platforms, dashboards, and reporting tools. Knowledge of Power BI or other visualization tools will be preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with field teams and manage data timelines effectively.
The Role
PCI India is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical MIS Coordinator to support the implementation and monitoring of Project ASCEND across Maharashtra. The MIS Coordinator will be responsible for managing learner and project data across the entire project lifecycle, including mobilization, onboarding, training, assessments, certification, placement, and retention tracking.
The role will involve close coordination with field teams, trainers, placement teams, and program managers to ensure timely data collection, validation, dashboard management, reporting, and data-driven decision-making under the project.
The ideal candidate should possess strong data management capabilities, proficiency in MIS tools and dashboards, and experience working with large-scale skilling, livelihood, or development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- MIS Management & Data Tracking: Manage and maintain the centralized MIS system for Project ASCEND, ensuring accurate and timely tracking of learner data across mobilization, enrolment, training, certification, placement, and retention stages.
- Data Collection & Validation: Coordinate with field teams, mobilizers, training centers, and placement teams to ensure timely collection, verification, and validation of project data and supporting documents.
- Dashboard Management & Reporting: Support the development and maintenance of project dashboards and trackers to monitor key indicators such as enrollments, attendance, assessments, certification, placements, retention, and gender inclusion targets.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Generate periodic MIS reports, data summaries, and analytical insights to support project reviews, donor reporting, and decision-making by the program team.
- Placement & Retention Tracking: Maintain updated records of placement outcomes, salary details, joining status, and retention follow-ups for placed candidates under the project.
- Coordination with Project Teams: Work closely with trainers, mobilisers, Placement Managers, and Program Managers to ensure data accuracy, reporting consistency, and adherence to project timelines and reporting requirements.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure proper digital documentation and storage of learner records, attendance sheets, assessments, placement proofs, and other project-related documents in alignment with donor and organisational requirements.
- Quality Assurance & Data Audits: Conduct regular data quality checks and support internal reviews and audits to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity across project locations.
- Assist and support the reporting manager in any other tasks assigned.

Recruitment Process
- Applications will be shortlisted based on the criteria mentioned in the job description.
- The process may include a presentation of the assignment.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for one or more rounds of panel interviews.
The complete process usually takes 2–3 weeks. Candidates moving to the final round will hear from the People & Culture team. In‑person meetings are preferred, but virtual meetings are conducted where distance is a constraint.
