Job Summary
The Draftsman – Civil & Interior is responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings, detailed plans, and technical layouts for civil construction and interior fit-out projects. The role involves converting design concepts into detailed drawings for execution, ensuring compliance with project specifications and construction standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Drawing Preparation
- Prepare 2D detailed drawings for civil construction and interior fit-out works.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings.
- Prepare shop drawings for interior works including furniture layouts, ceiling plans, and partition details.
2. Technical Detailing
- Produce detailed drawings for joinery, furniture, partitions, ceilings, flooring, and wall finishes.
- Ensure all drawings include proper dimensions, material specifications, and technical notes.
- Modify and revise drawings based on project requirements.
3. Coordination with Design & Project Teams
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements.
- Coordinate with site teams for drawing clarifications and updates.
- Ensure drawings are aligned with site conditions and project specifications.
4. Drawing Documentation
- Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.
- Ensure proper version control and documentation of design updates.
- Prepare drawing submission packages for project approvals.
5. Site Support
- Provide drawing support to site teams during project execution.
- Update drawings based on site modifications and changes.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings after project completion.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of civil and interior detailing drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Good understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
Software Knowledge
- AutoCAD (Essential)
- SketchUp / Revit (Preferred)
- MS Office
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / Certification in Civil Drafting / Architecture Drafting / Interior Drafting.
Experience
- 2 – 4 years experience in civil construction or interior fit-out drafting.

- Number of revisions due to drafting errors

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
