Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)Position Summary
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for the overall management, operations, business growth, sales, marketing, tendering, procurement, and financial performance of the organization. The CEO will report directly to the Managing Director (MD) and Board of Directors and will ensure the effective execution of strategic and operational objectives across all business functions.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Leadership & Business Management
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to all departments and business operations.
- Develop and implement business plans, operational strategies, and growth initiatives.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the organization while maintaining high standards of performance and accountability.
- Support the MD and Directors in achieving organizational goals and objectives.
Operations Management
- Oversee and monitor all operational activities across departments.
- Ensure efficient utilization of resources, manpower, and organizational assets.
- Establish systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Handle high-pressure situations and make effective decisions in a timely manner.
Financial & Fund Management
- Monitor company finances, budgets, cash flow, and fund utilization.
- Ensure financial discipline and cost control across departments.
- Coordinate with finance and accounts teams for financial planning and reporting.
- Provide recommendations to Management regarding investments, expenditures, and business growth opportunities.
Sales & Marketing Management
- Lead and monitor sales and business development activities.
- Develop strategies to increase revenue, market presence, and customer acquisition.
- Supervise and support the Sales Operations Team to achieve business targets.
- Review sales performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Monitor and evaluate marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, and promotional activities.
- Identify new market opportunities and business expansion possibilities.
Tender Management & Business Development
- Possess strong knowledge of government and private sector tendering processes.
- Monitor tender-related activities and ensure timely participation in suitable opportunities.
- Review tender submissions and provide guidance to the tendering team.
- Support business development initiatives through strategic tender participation and project acquisition.
Procurement & Purchase Management
- Supervise procurement and purchasing activities.
- Ensure cost-effective purchasing practices and vendor management.
- Monitor procurement processes to maintain quality, compliance, and efficiency.
Team Leadership & Human Resource Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage department heads, managers, and employees.
- Maintain discipline, professionalism, and teamwork across the organization.
- Oversee office administration and management of subordinates and support staff.
- Encourage a positive work culture focused on performance and continuous improvement.
Business Reviews & Performance Monitoring
- Conduct monthly management review meetings and operational review sessions.
- Monitor departmental performance and business outcomes against targets.
- Prepare and present business performance reports to the MD and Directors.
- Implement corrective and preventive measures to improve organizational performance.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, government authorities, consultants, and business partners.
- Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and strategic discussions.
- Ensure effective communication between management and operational teams.
Governance, Ethics & Compliance
- Uphold the highest standards of business ethics, integrity, confidentiality, and corporate governance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
- Promote transparency, accountability, and ethical business practices throughout the organization.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Minimum 35+ years of professional experience in senior leadership, operations, business management, sales, marketing, procurement, and administration.
- Experience across multiple industries and business environments will be an added advantage.

Language Requirements
- Fluent in Kannada and English (Mandatory).
- Hindi preferred.
- Tamil preferred.
- Knowledge of additional regional languages will be an added advantage.
