● Own the end-to-end QA process, from requirement analysis through production release.
● Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
● Perform manual and automated testing across software applications, hardware devices, APIs, and Industrial IoT integrations.
● Validate end-to-end communication and data flow between devices, networks, cloud services, and user-facing applications.
● Conduct functional, integration, system, regression, performance, reliability, and exploratory testing.
● Build and maintain automated test suites for critical workflows and regression coverage.
● Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
● Identify product and delivery risks early and ensure they are addressed before release.
● Document defects clearly, including reproduction steps, logs, screenshots, and expected behavior.
● Track defects through resolution, verify fixes, and assess their impact on related functionality.
● Own staging-environment readiness, test-data preparation, release validation, and final QA sign-off.
● Coordinate production releases and conduct post-release smoke tests and validation.
● Help ensure projects are delivered on schedule with a high level of quality and minimal defects.
● Investigate production issues, support root-cause analysis, and help prevent recurrence.
● Establish quality metrics and continuously improve testing processes, tools, and coverage.
Required Qualifications
● 7+ years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
● Strong experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
● Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
● Proven experience testing IoT products and connected-device ecosystems.
● Experience testing integrated hardware, firmware, software, and cloud-based systems.
● Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
● Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and backend services.
● Experience owning staging validation and supporting or coordinating production releases.
● Ability to troubleshoot issues using logs, network traces, device data, and debugging tools.
● Familiarity with defect-tracking, test-management, version-control, and CI/CD tools.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
● Excellent documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
● Demonstrated ownership, attention to detail, and commitment to delivery quality.
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience with IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Modbus, or similar technologies.
● Experience with device provisioning, connectivity, telemetry, firmware updates, and offline or intermittent-network scenarios.
● Familiarity with API-testing tools such as Postman.
● Experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework.
● Working knowledge of SQL, scripting, and Linux-based environments.
● Experience with performance, load, security, or reliability testing.
● Familiarity with cloud platforms and device-management systems.
Preferred Experience
● Industrial automation, robotics, automotive, medical devices, embedded systems, imaging, or IoT testing.
● Hardware-in-the-loop or software-in-the-loop testing.
