Job Description:
Standard Ring Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Quality Engineer for our manufacturing plant in Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad. The ideal candidate should have basic experience in coil spring manufacturing, line inspection, and quality documentation.
Quality Inspection
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of products as per control plans, drawings, and customer requirements.
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections using measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, etc.
- Maintain inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming products.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor process compliance and product quality during manufacturing.
Management Representative (MR) Functions
- Maintain and ensure compliance with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 Quality Management System requirements.
- Prepare, update, and control quality procedures, work instructions, and records.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
- Monitor quality objectives, KPIs, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Conduct Management Review Meetings (MRM) and prepare related reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and regulatory standards.
- Support customer audits and supplier quality activities.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949).
- Understanding of Quality Tools: 7 QC Tools, CAPA, 8D, Why-Why Analysis, FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related Engineering field.
- Certification in ISO 9001/IATF 16949 Internal Auditor will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and use measuring instruments
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word)
