We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, and compliance activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting management with timely financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Book, and Bank Book.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-up.
- Prepare and verify invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
- Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliance as applicable.
- Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory returns.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial records and supporting documents.
- Assist with internal and statutory audits.
- Monitor project-wise expenses, budgets, and financial transactions.
- Verify expenses, purchase bills, subcontractor bills, and payment requests.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable regulations.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and take corrective action.
- Prepare cash-flow statements and assist in financial planning.
- Support management in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com / M.Com preferred).
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
