We are looking for a motivated and technically sound Sales & Application Engineer to join our field sales team for B2B sales. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for production and maintenance managers at leading industrial companies across North India.
You will pitch, demonstrate, and provide hands-on application support for our wide-ranging product portfolio, building lasting customer relationships while driving new business growth in your assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with Tier-1 industrial clients, including production and maintenance decision-makers.
- Present and pitch multi-product solutions tailored to each customer's operational requirements.
- Deliver technical application support and guide customers in selecting the right products for their needs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned geographic territory.
- Plan and execute customer visits, introductions, and follow-up appointments within your scope.
- Generate and develop leads across all product lines supplied by the company.
- Coordinate daily with the backend team at the Delhi HQ for quotations, introductions, and customer communications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions and sales activities.
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly activity reports to the HQ team in Delhi.
- Participate in weekly planning and review meetings with the Operations and Sales Head.
- Continuously learn about new technologies and products promoted by the company.
- Monthly review and planning visit to Delhi Head office
Area of Travel: Rajasthan, North India.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
- 2–6 years of work experience in sales, application engineering, or industrial tools/machinery.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with industrial clients.
- Comfortable working independently from home while traveling regularly for client visits.
- Motorcycle/Bike ownership preferred for ease of local travel.
Preferred Profile
- Candidate with prior B2B industrial sales experience at Tier-1 and Tier-2 levels.
- Industry exposure in Fertiliser, Oil & Gas, Power, Automotive, or Heavy Engineering sectors is a strong advantage.
- Ability to travel across NCR and surrounding Northern Indian states.
- Proficient in MS Office, email communication, visit planning, and sales reporting.
- Strong relationship management skills and experience in customer development and lead generation.
