Role : Operations Manager – Precision Manufacturing | Automotive Components | CNC Machining

This is more than a production management role. You will own operational performance—from productivity and quality to delivery, machine utilisation and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end manufacturing and production operations
- Manage CNC Turning, VMC and precision machining operations
- Drive production planning, capacity planning and machine utilisation
- Improve OEE, productivity, cycle time and overall equipment effectiveness
- Reduce rejection, rework and process variation
- Drive On-Time Delivery (OTD) and production adherence
- Optimise tooling, processes and machining parameters
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to improve machine reliability and uptime
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and TPM initiatives
- Establish strong manufacturing systems, controls and performance metrics
- Build, develop and lead a high-performance shop-floor team
- Identify bottlenecks and lead structured root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and Planning teams to achieve operational targets
What We’re Looking For
- 10–15+ years of experience in precision manufacturing / automotive components
- Strong hands-on experience in CNC machining operations
- Proven track record of improving OEE, productivity, quality and delivery performance
- Strong understanding of GD&T, process control and manufacturing systems
- Experience in automotive component manufacturing is preferred
- Experience working with Tier-1 / OEM customers will be an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S and TPM
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate shop-floor teams
- A hands-on, execution-focused leader who believes in solving problems at the root and getting things done
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
