Skool guru Learning is looking for a passionate and energetic Academic Counselor / Admission Counselor to join our growing team. As an Academic Counsellor, you will guide students in choosing the right educational programs, support them throughout the admission process, and help them achieve their career goals.
This role is ideal for candidates interested in student counselling, educational sales, career guidance, student admissions, lead conversion, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact prospects and generated leads to conduct student counselling and student assessment sessions.
- Schedule and conduct assessment sessions with students and parents to guide them in choosing the best courses, programs, and career pathways and convert them into admissions.
- Prepare, interpret, and analyse assessment reports to derive actionable insights and improve the admissions process.
- Understand student and parent requirements and guide them in selecting the best course from our portfolio.
- Assist students and parents over phone calls by addressing queries related to admissions, courses, and academic guidance.
- Ensure proper follow-up with leads, students, and parents to improve lead conversion and enrollment rates.
- Deliver excellent student support and build strong relationships with students and parents throughout the admission journey.
- Collect feedback from parents, students, and trainers to continuously improve counselling quality and customer experience.
- Process student data and generate new business opportunities through client referrals and lead management.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth onboarding and admission procedures.
- Support the department manager in executing day-to-day operations effectively and achieving admission targets.
Requirements
- Any Degree or Diploma.
- 0–1 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Educational Sales, Admission Support, Student Advising, Tele calling, or Career Coaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Target-oriented mindset with good convincing ability.
- Freshers with strong communication skills can also apply.
