Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students in accordance with the CBSE curriculum, fostering language development, and promoting a love for literature and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured English lessons as per the CBSE syllabus.
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with board requirements.
- Teach grammar, writing, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and literature to students.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and projects.
- Prepare students for board exams (especially classes IX to XII if applicable).
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
- Encourage student participation through debates, elocution, essay writing, and other literary activities.
- Provide individual support to struggling students and encourage excellence.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding academic progress and behavior.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and teacher development programs.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE norms, record-keeping, and documentation.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong command over English language and grammar.
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and examination patterns.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Technologically proficient; able to integrate ICT in the classroom.
