The Waiter / Waitress is the primary face of our establishment, responsible for delivering an exceptional dining experience to every guest. You will welcome guests, present menus, take accurate orders, serve food and beverages promptly, and maintain a warm, inviting floor environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Guest Service & Order Management Greet guests warmly upon arrival, seat them comfortably, and present food and beverage menus. Answer guest questions regarding menu items, daily specials, ingredients, and potential food allergens. Take accurate food and drink orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system or order pads and communicate special dietary requests directly to the kitchen team. Serve food, beverages, and desserts efficiently, following proper service etiquette and presentation standards. 2. Table Maintenance & Floor Upkeep Monitor assigned dining tables throughout the meal to check guest satisfaction, refill drinks, and clear used plates, glassware, and cutlery (bussing tables). Clean, sanitize, and reset tables promptly after guests leave to minimize wait times for incoming diners. Ensure dining area ambiance, cutlery stations, condimiment bars, and service areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked. 3. Payment Processing & Upselling Prepare and present accurate itemized guest bills at the end of the meal. Process payments (cash, credit/debit cards, or digital wallets) accurately via the POS terminal. Actively suggest popular dishes, pairings, beverages, or desserts to elevate the guest experience and drive sales.
