We at MACLEC Clean Technologies Pvt. Ltd. looking for 1 store in-charge for our turbine manufacturing plant located at Kotla, Punjab.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Inventory & Stock Control
- Manage Stock: Maintain Optimal inventory level for mechanical spares, raw materials, and consumables.
- Stock Audits: Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them with digital records to prevent discrepancies.
- Reorder Processing: Identify slow-moving or obsolete items and raise purchase requisitions to replenish stock in a timely manner.
2. Daily Store Operations:
- Material Inward & Outward: Verify incoming deliveries against Purchase Orders (PO) and delivery challans, ensuring correct quality and quantity.
- BOM Compliance: Issue raw materials and components based on Bills of Materials (BOM) and approved departmental indents.
- Warehouse Organization: Implement systematic storage solutions (e.g., racks, bins) and labeling for quick retrieval of parts.
3. Documentation & Systems:
- ERP Management: Accurately log all transactions—Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), issue slips, and transfers—into ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Tally.
- Record Keeping: Maintain thorough documentation of vendor invoices, test certificates, and delivery receipts.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Production & Maintenance: Align with department heads to ensure critical machine spare parts are available to minimize equipment downtime.
- Purchase & Finance: Collaborate with procurement for vendor follow-ups and the accounts team for invoice processing and audits
5. Safety & Compliance:
- Safety Protocols: Enforce safety and hazardous material handling guidelines within the store (e.g., proper ventilation, lifting equipment).
- Housekeeping: Maintain 5S standards for cleanliness and organization on the shop floor and in the warehouse.
KEY REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATION:
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering store environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of industrial mechanical components, bearings, fasteners, and raw metals.
- Software: Proficiency in Excel & Busy
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and effective conflict resolution abilities
