We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Back Office Executive with accounting knowledge to support our finance and administrative operations.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Back Office Executive (Accounts) who possesses a sound understanding of accounting processes along with strong administrative and documentation skills. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing invoices, managing documentation, coordinating with internal departments, and supporting the Accounts team in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sales and purchase invoices.
- Assist in maintaining accounting records and financial documentation.
- Record day-to-day transactions and update accounting data.
- Coordinate with customers and vendors regarding invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
- Support bank reconciliation and account reconciliation activities.
- Maintain GST-related documents and assist in preparing financial records.
- Process purchase orders, payment requests, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate MIS reports using MS Excel.
- Perform data entry with high accuracy.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Dispatch, and Accounts teams for smooth operational workflow.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital records.
- Handle email correspondence and administrative documentation.
- Assist the Accounts department in month-end and year-end activities.
- Perform other back-office and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in B.Com, M.Com, or a related Commerce discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Back Office, Accounts, Finance Support, or Administrative roles.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Experience with invoicing, billing, reconciliations, and documentation.
- Good knowledge of GST documentation and accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Tally Prime, Busy, Marg ERP, or similar accounting software will be preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a publishing, distribution, or manufacturing company.
- Ability to maintain financial records with accuracy.
- Knowledge of banking transactions and payment processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
