Position Summary
We are looking for a creative and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, user-centric, and visually appealing digital experiences across web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end design process, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity UI design and usability testing. This role requires strong expertise in design systems, interaction design, user research, prototyping, and collaboration with product managers and development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end UI/UX design process for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and competitive analysis to understand user needs and business goals.
- Create user personas, user journeys, information architecture, and user flows.
- Design wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
- Ensure consistency in branding, typography, color schemes, and interaction patterns across products.
- Conduct usability testing, gather user feedback, and iterate designs based on insights.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Create responsive and accessible designs following WCAG accessibility standards.
- Work with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Review implemented designs and provide design quality assurance.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX best practices.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to improving design processes and standards.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Figma for UI design, prototyping, and design systems.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or similar design tools.
- Strong understanding of User Experience (UX) principles and User Interface (UI) design.
- Wireframing and Interactive Prototyping.
- Information Architecture and User Flow Design.
- Responsive and Mobile-First Design.
- Design Systems and Component Libraries.
- Interaction Design and Micro-interactions.
- Accessibility Standards (WCAG).
- Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web technologies.
- Familiarity with developer handoff tools and workflows.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of professional experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design projects and problem-solving skills.
- Experience designing enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, or consumer-facing products.
- Strong understanding of usability principles and human-centered design methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Motion Design and UI Animations.
- Knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies.
- Experience with usability testing tools and analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with Material Design and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
- Experience designing AI-powered, data visualization, or dashboard applications.
- Understanding of front-end frameworks such as React or Angular from a design collaboration perspective.
