The responsibilities of Trainee Engineer (Production) include:
Responsible for all processes of Sub Assembly, final assembly and Shift production
schedule.
Distribute all drawing set of Projects as per their final assembly, sub-assembly and
operation wise to all work station.
Review daily schedules based on the work order for final assembly and sub-assembly.
Distribute the daily schedule to all work station along with drawings and explain the
critical points in operations based on drawings.
After distributing the schedules he/she is responsible for completing the work according
to schedules & getting it completed from his team.
To check material availability in stores, receive the raw material from store department
and distribute the raw material to each work station as & when required.
Responsible for daily and periodic maintenance of machines on the production floor.
Responsible for in process rejection. Get the rework done for rejected items.
To maintain all production records at regular intervals & generate reports such as
Rejection Report, Production achievement Report etc.
For all other responsibilities, given by management as & when, required.
The Trainee Engineer (Production) is:
Authorized to do counseling of weak members.
Authorized to sanction leaves of subordinates.
Authorized for taking disciplinary action against non co-operating members of operation
team in consultation with immediate head.
