Work Profile – Senior Engineer (Finishing Works)
Department: Civil Construction
Experience Required: 6–12+ Years (Finishing & Interior Works)
Reporting To: Project Manager / Project Head
Exp 10 years plus
Role Summary:
Responsible for planning, execution, supervision, and quality control of all finishing works at site including plastering, tiling, flooring, painting, waterproofing, false ceiling, doors & windows, façade, and final handover activities. Ensures project completion within timeline, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Execution & Supervision
- Supervise all finishing activities as per drawings and specifications.
- Ensure work execution as per approved BOQ and contract conditions.
- Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors.
- Monitor daily progress and maintain work schedules.
2. Quality Control
- Ensure quality standards for plastering, tiling, flooring, painting, waterproofing, etc.
- Conduct regular inspections and rectify defects.
- Maintain finishing checklists and snag lists before handover.
- Ensure compliance with company quality policies.
3. Planning & Coordination
- Prepare micro-level finishing schedules.
- Coordinate with MEP team for smooth integration of services.
- Ensure timely availability of materials at site.
- Attend client/consultant meetings regarding finishing progress.
4. Material Management
- Monitor material consumption and control wastage check quality of material used.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of finishing materials and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ & rate analysis.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & MS Excel preferred.
