About the Role
Vmotiv8 Education is hiring a strong full-stack web developer to build and maintain modern, production-ready websites and web applications. You’ll own features end-to-end: frontend, backend, database, APIs, payments, security, deployment, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build responsive, mobile-first sites and web apps with React/Next.js
- Develop backend services (Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, webhooks)
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas; work extensively with Supabase (Auth, Storage, Realtime, RLS)
- Implement e-commerce flows: product catalogues, inventory, carts, checkout, orders, discounts, refunds
- Integrate Stripe (Checkout, Payment Intents, subscriptions, webhooks, reconciliation)
- Build internal admin dashboards for non-technical users
- Implement authentication, RBAC, session management, and secure coding practices (OWASP)
- Add real-time features (pricing, inventory, notifications) using Supabase Realtime / WebSockets / Redis
- Integrate third-party APIs (email, SMS, analytics, booking, live/sports data)
- Optimize performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO, and database queries
- Write tests, manage CI/CD, and deploy via Vercel/GitHub
Must-Have Skills
- React, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS
- Node.js, Express/NestJS or Next.js server-side, REST APIs, webhooks
- PostgreSQL, SQL, Supabase (Auth, Storage, Realtime, RLS, migrations)
- Stripe (Checkout, Payment Intents, subscriptions, webhooks, refunds)
- Git/GitHub, CI/CD, environment management, staging/production workflows
- Authentication, RBAC, security best practices, API integrations
Nice-to-Have
- Redis, BullMQ, WebSockets, Supabase Realtime
- Advanced e-commerce/inventory systems, dynamic pricing, live-data APIs
- AWS/GCP/Azure, automated testing (Jest, Playwright, Cypress)
- AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Lovable)
Working Hours & Time Zone
- Remote (India) with regular overlap with US Eastern Time (EST/EDT) for meetings and collaboration.
