Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Flexible Packaging, FMCG, Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Personal Care, and Industrial Packaging segments.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into long-term customers.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives.
- Explore new markets, products, and customer segments.
Sales Management
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts with customers.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivable levels.
Key Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service-related issues.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Dispatch teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular customer visits and business review meetings.
Marketing & Market Research
- Develop marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
- Conduct market intelligence activities and identify emerging opportunities.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events.
- Gather customer feedback and support new product development initiatives.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team.
- Set performance objectives and monitor team productivity.
- Conduct regular training and development programs.
- Foster a performance-driven and customer-focused culture.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare MIS reports on sales performance, market trends, customer feedback, and business opportunities.
- Analyze sales data and recommend corrective actions where required.
- Present business performance reports to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- MBA in Marketing / Sales Management preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or related field.
- Additional certifications in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development will be an advantage.
