We are looking for a creative and trend-savvy Video Editor who specializes in YouTube and social media content. The ideal candidate should be able to create engaging long-form and short-form videos that capture attention, increase audience retention, and align with brand goals.
This role requires a strong understanding of YouTube content, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook videos, and other digital platforms. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and transforming raw footage into compelling stories.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit YouTube videos, podcasts, interviews, vlogs, and promotional content.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, and other short-form videos.
- Add motion graphics, text animations, subtitles, transitions, sound effects, and music.
- Maintain brand consistency across all video content.
- Optimize videos for audience retention and engagement.
- Create thumbnails and assist with content packaging when required.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Strong understanding of YouTube editing styles and social media trends.
- Experience with motion graphics and kinetic typography.
- Ability to create fast-paced, engaging edits with strong storytelling.
- Knowledge of color correction, audio balancing, and video optimization.
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools and workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and creative thinking.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–4 years of experience in video editing.
- Strong portfolio featuring YouTube videos and social media content.
- Understanding of YouTube analytics, audience retention, and content performance.
- Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
