What You'll Do
- Lead the month-end inventory costing update process and supervise the Staff Cost Accountant.
- Perform monthly inventory costing activities and standard cost updates.
- Analyze inventory transactions and allocate production costs, freight, duties, and FOB charges.
- Review purchase orders and compare actual landed costs with expected costs.
- Maintain and update standard costs in the ERP system.
- Analyze cost variances and identify root causes with sourcing and production teams.
- Review domestic production costing and perform monthly cost analyses.
- Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and finance to improve costing accuracy.
- Support internal and external inventory and costing audits.
- Recommend process improvements and promote cost accounting best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4+ years of Cost Accounting experience.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Consumer Goods (CPG), Retail, eCommerce, Distribution, or another inventory-based industry.
- Strong knowledge of Standard Costing, Inventory Valuation, Cost Variance Analysis, and Landed Cost (FOB, Freight, Duties, and Agent Fees).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with enterprise-level ERP systems preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Time (PT)
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
