We are looking for a skilled and passionate WordPress & Backend Developer to join our growing team.
Job Summary
We are seeking a WordPress & Backend Developer with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in WordPress development along with solid backend programming knowledge. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites and web applications while ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Build custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Develop and maintain backend functionality using PHP and related technologies.
- Integrate third-party APIs and REST APIs.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website and server-related issues.
- Manage website deployment, hosting, backups, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, digital marketers, and developers to deliver quality projects.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across devices and browsers.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS.
- Experience in custom theme development and plugin customization.
- Proficiency in PHP and backend development.
- Good understanding of MySQL.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with REST API integration.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Understanding of website security and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks.
- Knowledge of WooCommerce customization.
- Experience with Elementor or similar page builders.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with cPanel, hosting, and server management.
- Candidates proficient in Kannada will be preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in WordPress and Backend Development.
