Civil Engineer – Building Design & Construction Supervision

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with expertise in building design, construction planning, and site supervision. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects to ensure structural safety, quality standards, timely execution, and compliance with applicable regulations. The role requires strong technical knowledge, project coordination skills, and the ability to manage on-site activities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare structural and civil designs for buildings and infrastructure projects.
- Develop construction drawings, layouts, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities at project sites.
- Ensure projects are executed as per approved drawings, quality standards, and timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and statutory regulations.
- Review material quality, measurements, and contractor bills.
- Assist in project planning, estimation, budgeting, and reporting.
- Identify technical issues during construction and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Prepare project progress reports and maintain documentation.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
Experience
- 2–8 years of relevant experience in building design, civil construction, and site supervision.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of RCC design, structural analysis, and construction methodologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, Revit, or other civil engineering software.
- Understanding of building codes, construction standards, and safety regulations.
- Experience in project execution, estimation, and contractor coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and team coordination abilities.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in sustainable/green building projects will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of project management tools and construction planning software.
- Familiarity with government approvals and compliance processes.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
