Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Engineer to manage the complete tendering process, from identifying suitable opportunities to preparing, submitting, and following up on bids. The candidate will coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of technical and commercial documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Search and identify relevant government and private tenders through GeM, CPPP, and other tender portals.
- Review tender documents, eligibility criteria, technical specifications, BOQ, terms, and conditions.
- Prepare and compile technical and commercial tender documents.
- Coordinate with technical, purchase, finance, and management teams to collect required information and documents.
- Ensure all tender submissions are complete and submitted within the specified deadlines.
- Maintain records of submitted tenders, EMDs, tender fees, deadlines, and results.
- Prepare tender-related correspondence, clarifications, and supporting documents.
- Monitor tender status and coordinate for further requirements after submission.
- Ensure compliance with tender requirements and company policies.
- Maintain an updated database of ongoing, submitted, and awarded tenders.
- Support management in evaluating tender opportunities and preparing bids.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in tendering, bidding, proposal management, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of GeM, CPPP, and other e-tendering portals.
- Strong documentation and MS Excel skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within strict deadlines.
- Good coordination, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of government procurement/tender procedures will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate
Experience in the Drone/UAV, Defence, Electronics, Engineering, or Manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
Salary: As per experience and suitability.
Location: Changodar, Ahmedabad.
Pay: ₹325,642.33 - ₹600,000.00 per year
