We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lightroom Editor who can enhance raw photographs with precision, consistency, and creativity, ensuring every final image meets our brand’s aesthetic and quality standards.
Job Overview:
As a Lightroom Editor, you will be responsible for organizing, editing, color-correcting, and retouching high-volume images captured by our photography team. You should have a deep understanding of Adobe Lightroom, color theory, exposure, and composition — and the ability to maintain consistent tones across entire shoots.
Key Responsibilities:
- Import, organize, and manage RAW image files from various shoots (wedding, engagement, maternity, etc.).
- Edit and color-correct images in Adobe Lightroom to achieve desired lighting, tones, and mood.
- Retouch images as needed — removing blemishes, adjusting skin tones, and correcting imperfections.
- Maintain consistent color grading and style across all photos for a cohesive look.
- Collaborate closely with photographers to understand client preferences and brand aesthetics.
- Export high-resolution edited images in required formats and organize final deliverables.
- Ensure all deadlines are met while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Backup and archive all edited files systematically.
- Stay up-to-date with new Lightroom tools, presets, and photography editing trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Lightroom Editor or Photo Editor (portfolio required).
- Expertise in Adobe Lightroom (Classic and/or CC).
- Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for advanced retouching (optional but preferred).
- Strong understanding of color correction, white balance, exposure, and contrast.
- Ability to edit high-volume images efficiently without compromising quality.
- Keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and visual storytelling.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with photographers and creative leads.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience editing wedding, engagement, or maternity photos.
- Familiarity with studio workflows, presets, and backup systems.
- Understanding of modern and cinematic color tones.
- Basic knowledge of album design software (e.g., SmartAlbums, Fundy) is a plus.
