Job Description
We are looking for a Painting Helper to assist painters in preparing surfaces and applying paint, varnish, and coatings. The role involves supporting daily painting activities, maintaining tools, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities
Assist painters with surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, scraping)
Mix paints, primers, and coatings as instructed
Load and unload painting materials and equipment
Hold ladders and scaffolding and assist during painting work
Clean brushes, rollers, and spray equipment after use
Cover surfaces with masking tape, cloth, or plastic sheets
Dispose of waste materials safely
Follow all safety guidelines and instructions
Requirements
Basic knowledge of painting tools and materials
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Ability to perform physical work and lift materials
Good teamwork and communication skills
Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in painting or construction work
Familiarity with industrial or building painting
