We are looking for responsible, disciplined, caring, and dedicated Male and Female Hostel Wardens to supervise hostel residents and ensure a safe, secure, clean, and well-managed residential environment.
The Hostel Warden will be responsible for the overall discipline, safety, welfare, attendance, and day-to-day administration of students/residents. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, leadership qualities, patience, and the ability to handle routine hostel operations as well as emergencies effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor students/residents throughout hostel hours.
- Maintain discipline, decorum, and a positive living environment.
- Ensure compliance with hostel rules, regulations, and institutional policies.
- Maintain daily attendance and monitor student movement, leave, and permissions.
- Conduct regular hostel rounds and ensure the safety and security of residents.
- Monitor entry and exit of students, visitors, staff, and service personnel.
- Address student concerns, complaints, and welfare-related issues promptly.
- Maintain proper records of attendance, leave, incidents, maintenance issues, and visitor entries.
- Coordinate with parents/guardians and management when required.
- Report disciplinary issues, accidents, emergencies, or other significant incidents to management immediately.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in rooms and common areas.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, maintenance, catering, and other support staff.
- Monitor hostel facilities and report repair or maintenance requirements.
- Assist students during illness, emergencies, or other situations requiring immediate support.
- Ensure that prohibited items, unsafe activities, bullying, harassment, or misconduct are not permitted within the hostel.
- Organize and supervise hostel activities, study hours, recreation, and other scheduled programs where applicable.
- Support emergency procedures, evacuation drills, and other safety measures.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student/resident matters professionally.
- Perform other hostel-related duties assigned by the management.
