About the Property
Twin Garden by TAPSOM is a hospitality property nestled in Rumtek, Sikkim, offering guests a warm, scenic, and memorable stay experience. We are looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to lead day-to-day functioning and elevate guest experience standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end daily hotel operations including front office, housekeeping, F&B, and guest services
- Ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes and maintain high standards of guest satisfaction
- Manage online bookings and listings through MakeMyTrip (MMT) and coordinate OTA-related communications
- Operate and maintain records using eZeeDesk (PMS) for reservations, billing, and reporting
- Supervise and coordinate hotel staff, ensuring discipline, grooming, and service standards are maintained
- Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests promptly and courteously
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for hotel uniforms, toiletries, and operational supplies
- Monitor inventory, housekeeping schedules, and maintenance requirements
- Maintain daily operational reports and share updates with management
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and hospitality service standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in hotel/resort operations management
- Proficiency in English, Bengali, and Hindi (spoken and written)
- Working knowledge of eZeeDesk (Property Management System) and MakeMyTrip (MMT) extranet, Booking.com, Agoda.com and other sites.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first attitude
- Smart, presentable, and able to greet and engage guests warmly
- Ability to multitask and handle operational pressure independently
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email correspondence)
- Leadership qualities to manage and motivate on-ground staff
Other Requirements
- Willingness to relocate to/reside near Rumtek, Sikkim
- Immediate joiners preferred
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends/holidays as per hotel operational needs
