Position: Safety & Security Officer
Location: Delhi Airport (IGI Airport), New Delhi

Reports To: Safety Manager / Head – Safety & Security
Industry: Aviation (FBO / Ground Handling / MRO / Airport Operations)
Key ResponsibilitiesSafety Management
- Implement and monitor the organization’s Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with DGCA, BCAS, and ICAO regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across operational areas.
- Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Investigate safety incidents, accidents, near-misses, and operational irregularities.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation as per regulatory requirements.
- Monitor compliance with safety SOPs, emergency procedures, and operational standards.
- Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.
Emergency Response
- Participate in emergency response planning and airport emergency exercises.
- Coordinate during emergency situations, including aircraft incidents, fire emergencies, medical emergencies, and security threats.
- Ensure availability and serviceability of emergency equipment and safety resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Safety Management, Security Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Diploma/Certification in Aviation Safety, AVSEC, SMS, IOSA, NEBOSH, or OSHA is preferred.
- Valid AVSEC certification (preferred).
Experience
- 1–7 years of experience in aviation safety and security, airport operations, ground handling, FBO, MRO, or airline operations.
- Experience working at Delhi Airport or other major international airports is preferred.
- Knowledge of DGCA, BCAS, ICAO Annexes, and airport operational regulations.

Working Conditions

Salary Range: As per company policy and candidate experience.
Pay: ₹12,136.04 - ₹44,375.37 per month
