Title : Sr. NodeJS Developer (5+ Years)
Location : Ahmedabad | On-Site
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using NodeJS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, micro-services, and event-driven applications.
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and promote engineering best practices.
- Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, communication APIs, and cloud services.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical documentation.
Core Technologies
- Strong expertise in NodeJS with 6+ years of hands-on development experience.
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event loop, streams, clustering, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar backend frameworks.
- Deep understanding of API development, authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Experience with GraphQL and WebSockets.
- Knowledge of Serverless Framework.
- Exposure to AI/LLM integrations and cloud-based AI services.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
AWS Cloud
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including:
- Experience designing and deploying highly available and scalable cloud architectures.
Databases
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of database optimization, indexing, replication, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Redis for caching and session management.
Architecture
- Knowledge of Micro-services Architecture and Event-Driven Systems.
- Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or AWS messaging services.
Quality & Security
- Strong experience with unit testing and integration testing.
- Familiarity with Jest, Mocha, or similar testing frameworks.
- Understanding of OWASP security principles and secure coding practices.
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
