Job Summary
The AGM – Projects civil is responsible for managing the organization’s procurement activities, vendor management, contract administration, cost optimization, and compliance processes. The role involves strategic sourcing, negotiation with suppliers, ensuring timely procurement of materials/services, and maintaining effective contractual relationships to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement and contract management strategies.
- Handle end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, vendor evaluation, negotiation, and purchase finalization.
- Prepare, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and purchase orders.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials, services, and equipment as per project or operational requirements.
- Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and procurement procedures.
- Coordinate with internal departments for procurement planning and contract execution.
- Manage tendering, bidding, and RFQ/RFP processes.
- Track procurement budgets and control purchasing costs.
- Resolve contract disputes and procurement-related issues effectively.
- Maintain procurement records, documentation, and MIS reports.
- Lead and mentor the procurement and contracts team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA or PG Diploma in Supply Chain/Procurement preferred.
Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in procurement and contract management.
- Experience in handling large-scale procurement operations and vendor negotiations.Industry experience in Construction, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, IT, or Real Estate preferred.
